You can not only set wait times for an entire category but also perform overrides or specific settings for individual menu items. Think of it like managing queue durations at a food stall; a general category might take 15 minutes, but a complex specialty item can be set individually so that the wait time displayed to customers is always accurate and honest.

- On the main Wait Times page, click on any category to enter this detail page.
- Category Overrides: Click the Set Wait Time button on a category card to set an estimated time applicable to all menu items within that group.
- Item-Level Overrides: If you have specific items that require longer or shorter preparation, search for the item in the table below and click the Set button in the ACTION column.
- Set Wait Time Modal: When the pop-up window appears, select the WAIT TIME AMOUNT (e.g., 20 min) and set the CLEAR AFTER duration to control how long this estimate will show before automatically disappearing from the system.
- Click Save Wait Time to apply the settings.
